Craig Mason

Craig has lived in Ilfracombe all his life, growing up in the church. After walking away for a season and battling addiction, he made the decision to choose Jesus for himself.

For years, he identified as a Christian but lacked a deep relationship with Jesus and a true revelation of who He was. In 2018, everything changed—Craig encountered Jesus in a way that transformed his life, leading him to fully embrace his identity in Christ. He began to recognise and replace the lies that told him he wasn’t good enough with the truth: that he is called, chosen, and that God has a purpose for his life.

Craig worked as a chef for nearly 20 years before saying yes to the call to pastor Encounter Church. Now, alongside his wife Anne, he leads the church with a passion for seeing people equipped, released, and walking in the fullness of their God-given identity. Together, they are committed to building a community where people encounter Jesus, break free from lies, and step into the authority Christ has given them.

Craig and Anne have four children Stephanie, Brendan, Olivia, and Karis
